PK039
This 6-digit value denotes the Large Family Wage Balance Tolerance, using units of dollars. This tolerance is an absolute maximum that comes into play when the second wage split level (PK036) is exceeded. The BLS original (V5.0) default value was $1000, but the Version 5.2 default was set to $10,000; although a lower value can be specified, the tolerance must not exceed $10,000. Also be careful that the limit does not produce a looser tolerance than is allowed by the mid-range “mill” tolerance. A $10,000 limit works for a 1.0% mid-sized tolerance (PK038) with a $999,999 medium/ large cutoff (PK036), but is too loose when either of these other tolerances is reduced.
