PK041
This 2-digit value notes the Wages = Employment Edit Tolerance, given in units of employee count. This tolerance is intended to help flag data entry errors in which either the employment has been replaced with monthly wage data or the total wages have been replaced with the sum of the three months of employment (checked in edit codes 095 and 132). The value here represents the smallest variation between the total wages and the summed employment months that will not flag the account. This process is fully described in the Micro Edits portion of this appendix. BLS has established a default value of 5 employees/dollars for this tolerance. Any increase of this value by a State should be pre-authorized by BLS.
