Micro Output Data File Data Set Name: WS.ES202.MICRO.DATA1, -2, . . . , -9 Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.MICRO.DATAn, ('ss' = State FIPS code; 'n' = numeric value 1 through 9) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: ES2MCDT This file is an optional output for Job 20D Micro Selection Parameter processing runs. The files are made available for download to a PC or writing to a tape cartridge, so that the micro data can be forwarded to another platform (PC or State mainframe) for specialized processing external to EXPO. As listed in the dataset names, it is possible to have up to nine of these files produced by a single Job 20D run, depending on the number of parameter sets processed and the output types selected. Unlike many temporary files, these are not automatically deleted at the end of the job run, specifically to keep them available for external processing. The files are only uncatalogued and deleted during the next Job 20D run (unless they are removed automatically by the disk pack definition, which may be set up to expunge all files after they have been on file for a specific number of days). |
