MOA Zip 4 Field (IMAT-ZIP-4)

This is the ZIP+4 extension of the mailing/other address ZIP code, found in positions 124 - 127. It may be blank or contain a valid numeric extension to the “root” 5-digit ZIP code. It should not contain all zeroes, as these can be misconstrued in certain processes. Canadian addresses will show an alphabetic character (the end of their ZIP code) followed by three spaces. Foreign addresses, as well as non-address-related IMAT records, should leave this field set to low-values.
