Job Features and Functions
- Selects records with entries in predecessor or successor field
- Successor must be inactive in prior quarter
Job 015D edits one-to-one predecessor/successor relationships for which the ownership changed during a specified quarter, or between the end of the prior quarter and the beginning of the specified quarter. Conflicts in liability/end-of-liability dates, employment, NAICS codes, etc., between the predecessor and successor are noted in a produced Predecessor/Successor Edit Report. To qualify, a successor record must have a predecessor identified and must have been inactive in the prior quarter.
A separate report lists one-to-many a many-to-one predecessor/successor relationships. These reports are a supplemental edit to the Micro Edit Exception Report. They are not stored in the Micro Edit File.
