Getting Started with ES2E
A common problem for those who are not used to the on-line editing screen is the simple question: “So how do I get started?” There are four basic ways of starting out the editing process, depending on how the workload has been divvied up among the workers. These methods are:
- Entering a starting SESA ID (using the “ACCT:” field).
- Entering a starting page number from the Micro Edit Report (using the “PAGE:” field).
- Entering an error code to search by (using the “ERR/YRQ:” combined field).
- Entering a starting micro edit sort key (using some or all of the fields (Family split switch (“FAM:”), QMSA (if used by the State), Macro switch (“MAC:”), Micro sort parameters (“SORT:”) or Macro edit key (“MAED:”), and the SESA ID (“ACCT:”)).
Each of these methods is described individually in the following sections.
