Job 001D performs IMT updates, estimations, and edits in the same manner as Job 001Q, but it does not shift the quarters of the Micro File or purge transaction or narrative comment data. The two Crosswalk Files and the Alpha Locator File are also rebuilt by running this job. Although this job usually extracts late reporter data, it can also extract data for the future quarter prior to running Job 001Q, though future quarter data are not edited by this job. Job 001D can be run multiple times during a quarter’s cycle.

The 001D job is mainly designed to update Micro and MOA data with late-reporter IMT data that were not available earlier. Prior to running this job, a State-specific job must be run to produce the IMT File for loading.

If the IMT data need to be pre-sorted, then Job ES2J084S should be run. If there is a need to correct the IMT data (if the low-valued characters have been set to question mark (“?”) characters), then the ES2J084X job should be run to fix the data appropriately.

Estimates are performed automatically for partially-reported accounts, and optionally for delinquent employers. The edits will be run according to the accounts that are eligible for estimation (or have already been reported); those that remain delinquent in the estimation process will not be included in the edits, since their delinquent values would stand out as though the non-zero employment and wages had suddenly dropped to zero/missing, which would be incorrect estimation data.
