15-Month Output File Data Set Name: ES2.JOB25D.DATA Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.JOB25D.DATA ('ss' = State FIPS code) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: ES2MO15 This file is an optional output from the 25D (13-month firm list) job. In this case, the data cover 15 months of employment rather than 13. Since this volume of data would not be printable in a single detail line, the disk type output is the only option for a full five-quarter output. Single-space filler characters are inserted to separate each of the fields, so they can be interpreted as space-delimited fields by PC applications such as an Excel spreadsheet. Certain features that are available in the 13-month report are absent from the 15-month file output, such as inter-quarter code changes, status changes and MEEI changes. The file is intended for longitudinal tracking of employment for establishments in external research-and-analysis applications. |
