Macro Rollup Data File Data Set Name: ES2.MACRO.DATAn (where 'n' is an integer from 1 through 9) Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.MACRO.DATAn, ('ss' = State FIPS code; 'n' = 1 - 9) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: (ES2RLUP) The Macro Rollup Data File is used as an optional output file, produced by the Macro Roll-up print job (ES2J246D). This file is used in place of the Roll-up Report when data are required in a machine-readable form. It contains wage and employment data for the MSA (optional), county, ownership, SIC and quarter parameters selected in the macro roll-up selection screen of ES2N. The numeric digit at the end of the file name comes from the parameter sequence number, as depicted in the row of parameter request ID's listed on the ES2N screen ('1' is used for the first parameter ID selected, etc.). Aggregated data can be represented on this file as well (with the multiple-valued fields appearing as spaces), according to the parameters specified in three aggregation switches. However, other features, such as a four-quarter total (one of the screen parameter specifications) are not included in this file. Due to the unique (parameter-based) file names, up to nine of these output files can be produced in a single Job 46D run. After they have been produced, the files can be accessed by State-specific programs to produce reports and files external to the EXPO system. | ||||||
