Multiple Worksite Report "Tape" Extended File Data Set Name: WS.ES202.MWR.TAPE Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.MWR.TAPE, ('ss' = State FIPS code) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: ES2MWRX The MWR Tape Extended File is the Version 9 implementation of expansions to MWRT processing at the EDI Center and elsewhere. The new format offers expanded capabilities over earlier versions, especially with regard to predecessor/successor transfer information. When EDI (or the reporting employer – though this would rarely be more than a worksite-to-worksite shift) knows of transfers of employees to a successor account, or from a predecessor, this information can go directly to the Predecessor/Successor Actuals (PSA) File. This file can be used instead of the 350-byte MWRT input, and in fact shall be the new standard for CENCO files for the 024D/024E job. Once the data have been loaded into the Micro and PSA Files, the MWRX file can be discarded. |
