Quarterly Portion of the SUE or SQUID File

Data Set Name:                   ES2.SUE.QTR.FILE

Service Center DSN:           YBUssX.A145.SUE.QTR.FILE, ('ss' = State FIPS code)

Type of File:                         Sequential

File Layout:                          ES2SUEQ

The Quarterly SUE File (also known as the Standard QUEST U-I Data (SQUID) File) is processed as a blank file in the 084I job, and is converted to the IMT format with the 084G job. It is processed along with the non-quarterly file (ES2SUEN) and the predecessor/successor file (ES2SUPS) to get the most from these files. In February of 2018, two new files were presented, called -.CENCO.NCA.ssnn.COUNTYTOWN.TXT file identifying the county/township portion, and -.CENCO.NCA.ssnn.NAICS.TXT to identify the NAICS portion of the file that would have the NCA (non-classified accounts) processing of the non-quarterly address file. It is not at present known how these two quarterly files can both fit on the 084G process, to convert these to an IMT format. It is probable that a separate file would need to be developed to process the other quarterly file. However, none of the jobs identify these CENCO files as inputs, so they would probably need to be processed independently, in spite of the documentation that says that "no change" is required.
