Files Requiring FTP

The following files will be created by State-specific programs as input to the various jobs that are noted. Some of these files are optional, while others must be produced. The files that must be produced (together with an “sc” notation whenever the FIPS State Code needs to be used as part of the file name), are shown in the table that follows. If there is a batch job that is run to clear out the contents of this file, it is shown as well.

Output File Name Jobs to Process this File
YBUscX.A145.MICRO.TRANS.FILE (IMT) run by 001Q, 001D, 001S jobs; can be created by the 084F job, sorted by 084S job, and “fixed” by 084X job.
YBUscX.A145.MOA.TRANS.FILE (IMAT) run by Job 043D.
YBUscX.A145.WAGE.DATA.TEMP (Wage) run by Job 060D.
YBUscX.A145.EMPL.XFER.FILE (ETT) run by Job 062D.
YBUscW.A145.REFILING.TRANS.FILE (IRT) run by Job 101D.

Note: You can view and verify the content of the Wage.Data.Temp file (copy member ES2WAGE) prior to running Job 60D. You can also review the content of the Micro.Trans.File (copy member ES2IMT) before running the 001D, -Q, -S, or -X job, using the same process that has already been described for the FileAid process; just make sure that you have identified the full file name and use the copy member name that is delineated above. You can either get the “character” mode or the format¬ted view, which gives a field-by-field layout of the file in question.
