Sample Program Control Table (PCT)
The Program Control Table maps CICS transaction ID codes to their associated programs. In addition to this mapping, all CICS programs, as well as the mapsets, need to be defined to CICS. This definition is accomplished in the Processing Program Table (PPT), described in the next portion of the appendix.
= This Transaction ID is an exception to the standard of EARx or ES2x format. Position 3 is the “parent” transaction letter, while the fourth is the screen number (e.g., EAN3 refers to the third screen of the EARN transaction).
