Sample VSAM File Definitions
The following are the VSAM File definitions as they are used in the EXPO-202 and EAR Systems. These definitions appear in the system parameters library (ES2.PARMLIB), under the indicated member names. For Service Center states, the definitions are found in the YBUstX.A145.PARMLIB partitioned data set (PDS), where the “st” value is the State FIPS code. Highlighted fields will probably be set differently in all States. Italicized items are the standard file name high-level qualifiers, which will often be altered from State to State as well. For instance, the Service Center States will use “YBUstW.A145” for EARS high-level qualifiers and “YBUstX.A145” for EXPO high-level qualifiers (where “st” is once again the State FIPS code).
