(Mailing/Other) Address Type Code Check - Code 101
This edit validates the address type code associated with the mailing/other address record, found in the Mailing/Other Address (MOA) File. If there is no record present in the MOA File for the current account being processed, this edit is skipped, as there is nothing to edit.
The valid codes for the MOA address type code include:
- ‘1’ = physical location address
- ‘2’ = mailing address
- ‘3’ = corporate headquarters address
- ‘9’ = unknown or unverified type of address
If the address type code shows any different value, this error code will appear on the edit report, along with the erroneous code. BLS classification: C.1.8. EXPO “G” code: C101.
