A 2-digit value specifies the Small Family Employment Balance Tolerance, given in units of employees. This is the maximum amount that employment can be out of balance for a small multi-family (total employment under the PK030 split value). The multi balance process is described fully in a later section of this appendix. BLS has set a default value of 5 employees for this parameter. Although this value can be decreased to tighten the editing tolerance, it cannot increase above the BLS default value.
