This is a 2-digit value denoting the Medium-Wage Family Wage Balance Mill Tolerance, using units of tenths of a percent, or mills (a value of 5 mills is 0.5% or 0.005 of the whole. This is multiplied by total wages to give the maximum wage deviation for a medium-wage family’s master account wages versus the summed worksites. BLS has established a default value of 10 mills (1%) for this tolerance; this value can be reduced (for a “tighter” edit), but not exceeded.
