A 6-digit value specifies the Minimum Employment Level for Taxable/Total Wage Checking, given in employee count units. An account with employment (measured as AME) below this level will not be checked for taxable/total wage ratio changes in the edit described with the PK043 parameter above. The BLS default value for this parameter is 99 employees. This value can be diminished for a tighter edit, but cannot increase beyond the 99-employee BLS level, despite its 6-digit length.
