This 6-digit parameter is the AME Cutoff for Wage Record Edits. Though edits on the Wage Summary File are optional to the State, the wage edit parameters are provided for anyone performing these edits. If the average monthly employment of a firm does not exceed this limit, it will not be subject to edits on the wage record count versus employment. This carries a BLS default value of 50. A lower value may be substituted, but this parameter should not exceed 50.
