The Percentage Limit for Total Wages Exceeding Wage Record Wages is a 2-digit percentage value. If the Micro File total wages are greater than the wages found by summing the wage records of the employer, and that excess is beyond the allowed percentage, the account will be flagged by the wage record wage edit. The BLS default of 20% should not be exceeded.
