PK084

This 6-digit parameter is the Large Imputed Employment Cutoff. It identifies the minimum employment needed in order for estimated employment to become suspect. This is tied to Edit Code 099, which flags large employers with estimated employment in order to have them double-checked. If the employer has actually gone out of business, or transferred to a successor employer, then the estimates represent overstated data that will need to be scaled back later. If they can be caught early, the data will be more accurate earlier in the process. The BLS default for this parameter is 250. It can be reduced (to flag more employers) but cannot be expanded beyond the default.
