ARS Verify Year (IMT-VERIFY-YEAR)
This is a 4-digit year field (found in positions 604-607) denoting the last time the account was successfully refiled (i.e., the last time the form was filled out, sent back, and was useable). Since refiling forms processing is the responsibility of the QCEW unit, it will rarely be the case that U-I will be storing the refiling verification year. Nonetheless, the field is provided here for loading. If present and useable, the field can be brought into the Micro File using the equivalent field name. Even though this is a four-digit year field, it will be transferred into the Micro File data as a 2-digit year; the century digits will be removed.
FILLER
A 1-byte filler appears in position 608; it had previously been used for the IMT-SALES-RCPTS-IND, a flag that was intended to designate whether most of the income came from sales and receipts. It was never developed, so has been dropped.
