12 total wage indicator

Total Wage Indicator (IMTQ-TOTW-IND(1))

This is the indicator flag associated with the total wages for the current quarter, a 1-byte field at position 771. The possible values for this field are the same as those for the first month's employment indicator flag (IMTQ-M1-IND(1)), as described earlier, with the following exceptions. The ‘A’ (ACES) value is invalid, since only employment data are available through the CES system. The ‘W’ (wage summary) setting uses the Wage Summary File summed wages instead of the wage records count as well.
