Program Descriptions Introduction
This Program Descriptions document was produced to add an additional level of clarity to the methods in which the EXPO/EAR system operates. Many of the EXPO corrections that are disseminated amongst the States refer to changes by program identification. This document outlines all programs that still play a significant role in EXPO processing.
This document is also highly-connected to the Batch Job Processing document, which allows a reader to "dive down" into increasing levels of detail. All batch jobs execute at least one of these programs. This document also frequently references the File Record Layouts document in the EXPO library.
This document also means to simplify the process of determining the input, output, updated files, and reports produced by each individual program.
