Business Cycle

A periodically repeated sequence of fluctuations in the aggregate economy of an area, or the nation as a whole; varying in duration, but consisting of:

​1. Upturn including recovery and prosperity

2. Cyclical peak

3. Downturn, including recession

4. Cyclical trough​
