Job ES2J036D - Produce "Place Code" Report
RUN THIS JOB - As required.
This job executes the following programs (click to link to each program description):
Job Features and Functions
- Summarizes employment and wages for a specified Place Code
- Report can be for any quarter on the Micro File
- There is an option to aggregate by NAICS Sector or Group
- There is also an option to include or exclude non-covered data
- Only has an effect for California and Utah
Job 036D produces a Summary Report by NAICS for a specified Place Code, for a specified quarter on the Micro File. Originally, Place Codes were called “city” codes; they represent community-level employment data not always available by zip code, county code, etc. The Place Summary Report can be produced by industry sector or super-sector totals.
Note: The State updates the Micro File with both the geocodes and the Place Codes with Job 035D.
