Job 110D generates a report equivalent to the Summary of Differences Report and file (normally generated in EXPO by Job 242D). This report shows the cumulative effects of code changes at the macro cell level (county-owner-NAICS) summation. This is useful for CES benchmarking.
The produced report and file summarize Micro File employment and wage changes between the 4th and 1st calendar quarters that result from non-economic code changes. The calendar year of the 1st calendar quarter used in this report and file will be the same year as exists in the current quarter position of the Micro File. Also, in order for a Micro record to be selected, it must have the same refiling year as the first quarter of the Micro File and also a response code of 46 or 50 with different 4th and 1st quarter county, ownership, and/or NAICS codes. Multi sub-units instead of masters are selected. For each macro cell (i.e. county, NAICS, ownership group), the report and file includes number of establishments, December and January employment, and fourth quarter wages that were both removed from the cell and moved into the cell as a result of non-economic code changes. A net change column is also included.
