Job Features and Functions
- Reads MWR-web Solicitation Request File of multi’s to be solicited for Web-site reporting
- Reads Micro File for existing MWRWEB reporters, i.e. ‘W’ in master for current quarter
- It is important that 037D and 039D have been run for all existing, confirmed request files and data files before running 038D
Job 038D supplies BLS with an historical file that includes employer data needed for their website. It reads the solicitation request file supplied by BLS to identify new MWR-Web reporters and the Micro File to identify existing MWR-Web reporters (i.e. those with a ‘W’ in the data source flag field for current quarter). It then pulls administrative data from the Micro File for both new and existing web reporters for BLS. It creates a history file with this needed data and then BLS loads this information to the website. When this job is submitted, a prompt is given for the year and quarter of the solicitation request file to be processed. Since old solicitation request files accumulate until deleted, it is important the user must enter the most recent solicitation request file available
This job sets micro data source code for MWR-Web eligible master accounts. It processes a new U-I accounts list sent back to the State after Job 037D is run. The new U-I accounts list is created by BLS, processed by this job, and a history data set is sent to the BLS Regional Office.
