Job 247D Detailed Parameters Screen

Job 247D parameters are used to produce various macro-data output files for use with the ALMIS system, which is not directly connected with the QCEW system. The selection parameters are entered with the ES2NP05 program, which uses a screen format that is identical to the 246D screen just described. Even though the output is completely dissimilar to that produced by Job 246D, the selection parameters are still the same. ALMIS-based parameters are stored in the Rollup Parameter File with a “B” record type instead of the 246D job’s “A” type. In all other respects, the 246D and 247D selection processes are identical. Because of these similarities, the 247D (ESN5) screen is not listed here. Any aspect of data selection can be found in the ES2NP02/246D parameter selection documentation, described earlier.

As with the 246D job, 247D also has a CIPSEA-compliant equivalent in the form of Job 247C. If the ALMIS people are not cleared to see data that includes some CES-generated employment values, then the 247C job should be run in place of 247D. It will substitute any CES-affected macro cells with “fuzzied” equivalents to keep the data properly protected. The 246D Matrix Report options were dropped from Job 247D, since they have no useful application here.
