Abbreviated Quarterly U-I Address File Data Set Name: WS.ES202.JOB021D.ACES.STYYQ and WS.ES202.JOB021D.ACES.PS.STYYQ – ST = State Abbreviation; YYQ = Year/quarter Service Center DSNs: YBUssX.A145.JOB021D.ACES.STYYQ and YBUssX.A145.JOB021D.ACES.PS.STYYQ, ('ss' = State FIPS code, ST = State Postal Abbreviation; YYQ = Year/quarter) Type of File: Sequential File Layout ES2AQUI / ES2EQUA / ES2EQUP The Abbreviated Quarterly U-I Address File is actually two files, one for standard, quarterly data, the other for predecessor/successor pairings. These are stripped-down versions of the standard EQUI formats (see ES2EQUI and ES2EQPS, later in the chapter). The abbreviated form was developed by the ACES team as part of their system rewrite for .NET processing. They wanted to have only necessary data represented in QUI-type data that needed to be FTP'ed to their system. Much shorter records means transfer time is greatly reduced. The abbreviated QUI format is available as an option within Job 021D. The two output files must then be transferred for ACES processing. | ||||||
