Centralized Annual Refiling System (CARS) Load/Response File Data Set Name: EAR.CENCO.CARxxyyy.TXT ('xx' = State Postal code; 'yyy' = sequence number Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.CENCO.CARxxyyy.TXT ('ss' = State FIPS code, 'xx' = State Postal code, 'yyy' = sequence number) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: EARCARL The CARS Load File (also known as the Response File) provides refiling information collected centrally by the CARS process for those states participating in the testing process. Data are loaded into the Refiling File through Job 114D, which first sorts the file by SESA ID (as a safeguard). The actual loading process occurs in the EARRF14 program. |
