Batch Job Parameters File (subset of the Lookup File) Data Set Name:                   WS.ES202.LOOKUP Service Center DSN:           YBUssX.A145.LOOKUP, ('ss' = State FIPS code) Type of File:                         VSAM indexed File Layout:                          ES2JPRM CICS ID                               ES2LKUP (standard); EssLKUP (Service Center; ss=State) The batch job parameters are found in records contained in the Lookup File.  Due to their importance in system processing and their level of complexity, they are listed separately here.  The parameters are viewed and maintained within the ES2N CICS transaction, which has the most involved mapset in EXPO.  Once the parameters for a job have been established, they are processed by the parameter reformatting program (ES2UT19), which converts the single job parameters record into individual program parameter records, one for each program to follow in the job that requires input parameters. ​These records are distinguished from other Lookup File records by the record type code, which must always be "JB" for EXPO batch job parameters.  EARS jobs parameters (described in the EARJPRM copy member write-up earlier) begin with "J1" in the record key.  Since these are maintained as permanent records, they can not be deleted or added through standard screen entries, etc.  Only the contents can be modified.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​
