Micro Worksite Summary File Data Set Name: WS.ES202.WORKSITE.SUMMARY Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.WORKSITE.SUMMARY, ('ss' = State FIPS code) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: ES2MIWS The Worksite Summary File is produced by multiple batch jobs as a holding pen for data related to multiple worksite families. This information must often be collected ahead of time for usage in such diverse processes as multi-family proration, MWR form preparation, balancing of worksite to master employment and wage data, and determining which families to select for mailing label preparation. The data set name shown above may vary from one job to the next, but the format remains constant. Jobs 001D, 001Q, 001S, 002D, 002F, and 242D use this file as part of the estimation process. Reported worksite data can be used to estimate a delinquent master account, while the delinquency of worksites can be used to determine whether prorations will be required throughout the sub-units. Jobs 001D, 001Q, 002D, 002F, 028D, 028S, and 242D use this file for editing of worksite and master data. Since many of these jobs overlap the ones listed for estimations, there needs to be a means of distinguishing which type of run is intended for the worksite sums. This is handled by these jobs through the deletion of one of the program parameters records from the file that had been created by the ES2UT19 program. Then the original parameters don't get in the way of the second-run intent. Other jobs requiring summed worksite data include 003D (multi-family balance checking), 004D (multi-family delinquency reporting), 010D (late reporter delinquency notice labels option), and 012D/012F/012R/012W (MWR form preparation - especially follow-up runs which need to create forms for delinquent (non-responding) families). Following the creation and subsequent utilization of the summed worksite file, it is deleted. |
