Survey Log File Data Set Name: WS.ES202.LOOKUP Service Center DSN: YBUssX.A145.LOOKUP ('ss' = State FIPS code) Type of File: Sequential File Layout: EARSLOG CICS ID: ES2LKUP (EssLKUP for Service Center; 'ss' is State FIPS) This is an alias of the Lookup File, used for maintaining statistics related to the course of refiling processes. The dates and number of forms used in each of the mailings are noted in addition to special flags and dates for other auxiliary processing information. There are five records in this group. The records are initialized in Job EARJ100A as part of generating the new year's Refiling File. All of the record counts are set to zero for proper tracking throughout the year. Most of the updates to this file occur in batch jobs. The standard refiling form print jobs (103D and 104D) update the Survey Log records by setting the tallies of forms produced by the various mailings. Survey Log records have only limited connection to CICS programs, in that the EARC screen can increment deleted record counts when an account is removed from the Refiling File. Otherwise the data remain untouched by CICS throughout the cycle. Special totals for accounts that have some involvement with NAICS codes that are included in the 2007 NAICS revision are listed in the first mailing as a Version 9 enhancement. |
