Taxable Wage Check for Non-E/R Accounts - Code 059
This edit looks for non-experience-rated, non-Federal accounts that show non-zero taxable wages. These are accounts with a type of coverage code of ‘1’ (reimbursable), ‘3’ (reimbursable with employee contributions), or ‘8’ (non-covered or non-subject). The presence of non-zero taxable wages on an account with one of these types of coverage is flagged as a crucial error, locking the edit flag until the situation is addressed and corrected. BLS classification: A.1.4 or B.1.5, based on employment size. EXPO “G” code: A059 or B059.
