This is the Maximum Predecessor/Successor Employment Change, which has been used in the predecessor/successor edits of ES2MI15 to flag month-to-month employment fluctuations for units that are matched between the predecessor and successor, as though it were a continuously existing establishment. This edit has been revised recently to replicate the standard employment shift format using the PK010 through PK014 parameters. It is unknown whether this value has any useful application at this point. The BLS standard default for this parameter is 25. It can be varied, but should not be increased above 50.
