A 6-digit value represents the Maximum Contribution Deviation, with units of cents. A value of 00250 indicates that the computed contribution (tax) amount may differ from the reported value by up to $2.50. When used with PK027, a two-sided edit failure will produce an edit exception. This parameter carries a default of 400 (or $4.00). Although the value can be modified, it must not exceed the BLS maximum of 1000 ($10).
