This 2-digit field is the Wage Edit Big Account Parameter Multiplier, the wage edit counterpart of the PK053 employment parameter multiplier. This multiplier uses a smaller value than the employment multiplier, since the magnitude of scale varies less markedly for wage-related conditions. This is largely due to the fact that the AQW is an average, as opposed to the direct data presented in the monthly employment fields. It was therefore decided that this multiplier should be developed as a substitute for the common multiplier (in edits 092 and 094), with a lower default value than that applied to employment edits. The default value for this parameter is 3 (a tripling factor). This value can be lowered to 2, but should not be increased above 3.
