A 6-digit field represents the Small Employment Bypass Cutoff for micro edits. It is used in series with the PK072 parameter, described next, to exempt those employers of limited consequence from being trifled with in the edits. The establishments falling below both the employment and wage cutoffs are exempt from most standard micro edits. BLS set the default as 5 employees. A lower value may be substituted, but the 5-employee limit should not be exceeded.
