The Small Wages Bypass Cutoff parameter is another 6-digit field, used with the PK071 cutoff just described. These allow small employers to be ignored from most micro edits, in line with the recommendations of Latouche and Berthelor study, “Use of a Score Function to Prioritize and Limit Recontacts in Editing Business Surveys.” The BLS default for this parameter is $10,000. Though this can be changed to a lower value, no tolerance exceeding the BLS limit should be attempted.
