Employer Email Address (IMAT-EMAIL-ADDRESS)
This is the employer’s email address, a 60-byte alpha-numeric field spanning positions 198 - 257 of the record. Most often, the email address is listed in lower-case characters. However, it is often difficult to store lower-case data on mainframe computers. It may therefore be necessary to load this field with upper-case characters, which will be transferred in that form to the MOA File. If it is possible to bring in the lower-case characters, they will be transferred correctly, maintaining their case.
If the email address is available, it should be placed here. 60 characters should be ample space for virtually all email addresses. For IMAT records that have nothing to do with email address data, leave this field as low-values.
