Job 047D - Produce an MWR Web Master File
The 047D job is designed to produce a list of master accounts in the MWR Web, under specific ownership codes, as delineated below. If all of the ownership codes are “No”, the job will stop, as this is invalid. Federal accounts are not processed with the MWR Web process, which leaves nothing to be selected.
This is an “unofficial” deliverable to BLS to determine which accounts are to be on the MWR Web process. Although the title is an MWR-Web Master File, it does not actually use the MWR-Web accounts. However, it determines if a master account is eligible for selection on the MWR Web process, which is why it is needed by the BLS to determine the content of the MWR Web list. The parameters are shown below:
1. Ownership (5) Private (Y/N) - This switch identifies whether private-owner masters should be included in the totals. All the States have identified this as a “Y’ to include the private-ownership accounts.
2. Ownership (2) State (Y/N) - This switch denotes whether State-government multi-families are to be included (there are 56% of the States that have said “Y” to this option, so that the State-government accounts would be included).
3. Ownership (3) Local (Y/N) - This switch specifies whether Local-government multi-families should be included (there are over 83% of the States that have said “Y’ to this option, so that Local-government multi’s would be included).
Job 047D can be run at any time, but it will work best to have this job run shortly before the data would be used by the BLS Regional Office to determine which accounts should be processed during the next quarter for MWR-Web selection.
