ES2UT17S
ES2UT17S is a utility program that collects predecessor and successor data as a prelude to conducting BLS pred/successor editing in program ES2MI15. The UT17 program creates two sequential files, one showing predecessor relationship mappings, the other with successors of accounts which terminate during or just prior to the year/quarter specified in the program parameters. Both files are sorted externally prior to processing in the ES2MI15 program. Sorting is required for identification of one-to-many and many-to-one relationships as well as the one-to-one edit reports.
