Job Features and Functions
Job 121D is used to load data from the ARS-Web system. This portion of CARS allows data to be brought in for addresses, codes, names, etc., with two parameters for each group of fields to denote whether the existing values should be locked, and whether to implement the new values. These two flags can cause some confusion, since the previous setting of a lock will prevent the update of that type of field. However, if both flags are set to a “Y” value, then the updates will first take place, then the locks will be enacted.
