Blank Mailing/Other City Check - Code 109
If a mailing/other address record is present for the edited account, it should not be missing the city field, since this is an important piece of information for the mailing. However, Federal government accounts are once again exempted from this edit. Of course any account that has no corresponding MOA File record will have nothing to edit, so this edit, as well as Code 110 and Code 111, are ignored.
For accounts with a MOA present, if the city is blank and one of the two street address lines is not blank, or the State code is not blank, the MOA city field is flagged as being erroneous. The information is carried in the Micro Edit Report record for printing on the Edit Exception Report. BLS classification: C.1.8. EXPO “G” code: C109.
