Job 107D - Produce Refiling Selection Reports

Earj107d.png

Job 107D is the refiling-based equivalent to the EXPO 020D and 246D jobs. It produces the Refiling Selection Report or a file containing the data that would be in that report. It does not “fuzzy” the data that are from CES in the aggregates; for proper CIPSEA compliance, the 107C job must be substituted for 107D. Both jobs share the same parameter sets.

The screen lays out up to nine parameter ID codes for selection. Each of these, if specified, will generate its own report or file output. The parameter specifications within that ID code are maintained by one of the EARN screens (EARNP03), found under the Job 107D parameters portion of the EARN screen description within the CICS Screens section of documentation.

Either a report or file output can be produced by the 107D and –C jobs. If a file is selected, its format is the Refiling Selection Report Data File (found in the EARRSEL record layout). Each parameter ID code is processed separately, producing a report or file (whichever is requested) corresponding to the selected parameter specifications. No field labels (such as are found with most batch job parameter sets) are provided on this screen; therefore, there are none listed in this document either. Scrolling among available parameters is accomplished with the PF8 (next page) and PF7 (previous page) keys.
