ES2MA01

ES2MA01 aggregates the Micro data gathered by utility program ES2UT11, after the records have been sorted externally by county, ownership, SIC/NAICS/Aux-NAICS code, and the industry type code, year/quarter, and U-I account number in the Micro-Macro File. The aggregated records created here are compared to the corresponding Macro File records, applying any changes to quarterly data (wages and employment) by replacement of Macro records. Previously this was performed through the BLS Macro Edit program, but now Macro editing is a separate and independent function. This parallels the other EXPO/EARS update and edit schemes (namely ES2MI01 and ES2MI02, EARRF01 and EARRF02, and ES2WA02​).
