Job ES2J020D - Customized Micro Report - No Data Sharing

Job Features and Functions

  • Produces customized non-CIPSEA-compliant micro report as specified in ES2N parameter(s)
  • Data for report comes from Micro File and/or Micro Archive File
  • Individual parameters can be saved under separate request ID’s
  • Option for firm list or name and address report
  • Option for a micro sequential data file output; or detailed micro report
  • File includes geographic data
  • Option for a group file, viewable in ES2Z
  • Option for label output; at DMA, this is always a file
  • Labels parameters require ‘R’ output-file for download is automatically produced
  • Possible 9 parameters; an ABEND code of 0001 appears when short of 9; this is okay
  • For group selection, if a master account is specified in group file with spaces in Reporting Unit, the entire family selected
  • Inactive records displayed on report show data underlined

Job 020D produces customized micro-level reports specified on the 020D tables of CICS screen ES2N (see the Related Links for additional information). Five basic report formats may be produced (firm list, mailing address list, delimited file, or address labels (with or without the U-I account number)). Alternatively, the selected micro data can be written to a disk file, or the list of account numbers can be used to produce an Accounts Group (accessible from the ES2Z screen).


Parameter records must be established before running this job. Two parameter screens exist for this job. The first displays existing parameters and is used to specify the parameters to be used by Job 020D. The second is used to establish new, or modify existing, parameters. New parameters can be saved under a request ID number and are available for reuse. With the potential for multiple parameters being saved, the parameters to be used in any particular run of 020D must be specified by request ID on the first screen before running the job.


Mailing labels can also be produced by Job 020D.
