Job ES2J011S - EQUI - Special Correction Using Prior Backup
RUN THIS JOB - As required.
This job executes the following programs (click to link to each program description):
Job Features and Functions
- Updates macro file for specified quarters
- Produces a data file for the BLS Regional Office. Used for the CES-versus-202 employment comparison spreadsheet.
- Generates initial or corrections EQUI deliverable on cartridge
- Initial and corrections records include the full 1190 bytes
- Correction File includes selected changes to Micro File and for current and/or prior quarter(s) only
- I.e. status changes, predecessor/successor info, unclassified NAICS, county, and township changes to classified
- Corrections determined by comparing current Micro File with second generation Micro and PSA back-up files
- Does not produce back-up Micro or Predecessor-Successor Actuals files
- Includes header - record length, block size and edit parameters/tolerances
- Includes trailer - record counts
- Produces two copies of a control total report for use in preparing transmittal form
- One for State printer and one for State’s Regional Office printer
- Records include active quarters back to first calendar quarter of year of prior quarter in Micro File
- Before a record can be reported as deleted, it must have been active in at least one of the current or four back quarters to qualify
Job 011S is nearly identical to 011D, except that it allows a second-run option for an EQUI deliverable submittal, created with an earlier Micro File backup. Also, it 011S does not generate a new backup of the Micro File.
When corrections need to be made after the 011D run has completed (but before the file has been received by BLS) the 011S job can be submitted to incorporate the last-minute changes into the records already included in the original EQUI deliverable.
