Jobs 246D, -C - Produce Macro Roll-Up Reports / Files
Job 246D is the macro-based equivalent to Job 020D. It produces the Macro Roll-up Report or a file containing the data that would be in that report. It does not “fuzzy” the data that are from CES in the aggregates; for proper CIPSEA compliance, the 246C job must be substituted for 246D. Both jobs share the same parameter sets.
The screen lays out up to nine parameter ID codes for selection. Each of these, if specified, will generate its own report or file output. The parameter specifications within that ID code are maintained by one of the ES2N screens (ES2NP02), found under the Job 246D detailed parameters portion of the ES2N screen description within the CICS Screens section of the documentation.
Either a report or file output can be produced by the 246D and 246C jobs. If a file is selected, its format is the Macro Roll-up Data File (found in the ES2RLUP record layout). Each parameter ID code is processed separately, producing a report or file (whichever is requested) corresponding to the selected parameter specifications. No field labels (like those found with most batch job parameter sets) are provided on this screen; therefore, there are none listed in this document either. Scrolling among available parameters is accomplished with the PF8 (next page) and PF7 (previous page) keys.
